| Summary: | The aims of the project being applied for are firstly to consolidate the current tourism offer through the recovery of the Escots pathway for tourist and cultural use. The second aim is to recover one of the most emblematic elements of the architectural heritage in the municipality, classified as being of great interest by expert historians. The third aim is to increase value as a tourist attraction with the positive dynamic which this represents for the local population: creation of tourism service in the short- and long-term which allow for diversification / complementing the sources of income (mostly from the agricultural sector), with the consequential improvement in the quality of life and feeling rooted in the area.

| Summary: | The project intends to implement the necessary action in order to preserve and improve ecological forestry and environmental values in the Mountain. For example providing the necessary facilities to promote its social, tourist and educational use in a controlled and respectful manner. The intention is to involve the local population and other users during the course of the project and following it.

| Summary : | This project is carried out within the framework of implementation of the Sustainable Planning Project Action Plan in the southern part of the la Segarra area The objectives of the seminar are:
- To introduce the DGQA, the advantages and the possible certification financed by DMAH.
- To incentivise the adoption of DGQA within a local strategy heading for quality tourism.
- To group together interested rural tourism establishments in order to be able to offer specialised advice and joint certification, reducing costs.

At the same time, CEDRICAT proposed and carried out an action as a response to concerns expressed by citizens during the course of the participation of locals in the Agenda 21 in the northern area of La Segarra. - Creation of publicity advertising the project.

| Summary : | The aim of this project is to introduce the Environmental Action Plan and a follow up plan of Agenda 21. The main objectives are:

- Carry out a participative assessment and annual updating of Agenda 21.
- Initiate the introduction of Agenda 21 actions with the participation of the administration and the local population.
- Participative evaluation of the results of the applied action.

| Summary : | The Rius Project (www.projecterius.org) is an inititative of the Habitats Association whose main objective is to stimulate active participation in the conservation and improvement of our rivers within society.
The specific objectives of the project are as follows:
- To encourage knowledge and mutual co-operation between children, young people and adults from all backgrounds, all in all fostering relationships in everyday life.
- To promote knowledge of fluvial ecosystems in the area.
- To galvanise education and environmental awareness in educational centres.
- To provide incentives for the creation and consolidation of groups of volunteers involved in the Rius Project in the long term.

| Project : | Seminars to raise awareness and stimulate the possible sustainable benefits of the future Albagés reservoir. |

| Summary : | Seminars organised in themed modules with the aim of raising awareness of the range of opportunities open to the Albagés area resulting from the construction of the reservoir. There will be four participative sessions on the following topics:
- Impact of the new reservoir at an environmental, social and economic level.
- Re-evaluation of local natural and cultural resources.
- Sustainable tourism benefits from the future reservoir.
- Information on the experiences of other areas.
It will close with a working seminar whose objective is to define the best strategy to follow for sustainable benefits derived from the future reservoir.

| Summary : | These project's objectives are to design and consolidate useful tools for the areas to help them begin to work towards sustainable development. The phases in both areas are:
- Synthesising information at supra-municipal level.
- Participative environmental analysis.
- Writing up the Environmental Plan of Action.
- Writing up a follow-up plan.

| Summary : | The objective is to offer useful tools for the area to help to start working towards sustainable development following the methodology and the criteria used in the previous work carried out in the southern area of La Segarra in order to obtain a unified document "Sustainable Planning in the Segarra Area".
- Deciding on the methodology to follow in the production of the sustainable plan, as well as determining a system of participation for the local community and a method of obtaining and collating data.
- Field work which will bring together government teams and local collectives in the municipalities included in the aforementioned area, adhering to the Aalborg Charter which outlines the creation of a sustainable action plan; and at the same the production of a database to allow identification of issues in the aforementioned planning.
- Writing up of the sustainable plan and presentation to all the local agnts involved.
- Amalgamation of the work involved in "Sustainable Planning in southern Segarra" and "Sustainable Planning in northern Segarra" into one document "Sustainable Planning in Segarra".
